Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in Oakville — On the mats.
Mightymite, Peewee, and Junior programs for kids ages 3 to 12. Real jiu-jitsu, taught at the right pace, in the right environment. The mats are where kids learn who they are.
Three programs.
Three ages.
Ages 3–5. Pure fun, with structure.
40 minutes of focused play, movement, and introduction to jiu-jitsu concepts. Our youngest students build the coordination and discipline they'll need to love the sport for the next decade.
Ages 6–8. Real technique, real drilling.
Kids move from structured play to actual jiu-jitsu technique. Positions, escapes, submissions — all taught in an age-appropriate way. A Friday Comp class is available for the ones who want more.
Ages 9+. The real thing.
Full technique, drilling, and controlled live rounds. Kids in this program start to look and move like little jiu-jiteros. Saturday Junior Comp is our competition-track class.
Monday – Friday, 3:00–5:00 PM.
A structured after-school program combining homework time, physical activity, and jiu-jitsu training. Perfect for parents who want more than screen time after pickup.
Not just skills.
Character.
Quietly sure of themselves.
Kids who train BJJ walk differently. They sit up straighter. They stand their ground. Not because they're aggressive — because they're calm.
The opposite of screens.
BJJ demands full attention. There are no phones, no distractions, no shortcuts. Kids learn what it feels like to actually be present — which is a superpower in 2026.
Friends who train.
The friendships formed on the mats are different from school friendships. Kids learn to trust, cooperate, and compete with the same person in the same hour. That's rare.
Every weekday,
plus Saturday.
Built for every kind of kid.
- The energetic kid who needs somewhere to channel it.
- The quiet kid who needs somewhere to find their voice.
- The kid who's been bullied and needs to stop feeling powerless.
- The kid who loves sports and wants something harder than soccer.
- The kid on screens too much who needs a reason to put the tablet down.
What parents ask.
Our Mightymite program starts at age 3. It's a short, high-energy, age-appropriate class that builds body awareness and discipline.
Yes. We teach age-appropriate technique with no striking, heavy supervision, and progressive partner drills. Kids BJJ is one of the safest martial arts you can enroll a child in.
Yes. BJJ is the most practical self-defense system for smaller bodies — it's specifically built to let technique beat size and strength.
Yes. After School runs Monday through Friday, 3:00–5:00 PM. It combines homework time, physical activity, and jiu-jitsu training.
BJJ is one of the best tools we've seen for shy kids. Showing up, trying hard, and being part of a team builds confidence in a way nothing else does.
